Every year, small business owners across the region come together for Strategic Action Planning Day (SAP Day), an annual event hosted by E.A. Lewis & Associates designed to help entrepreneurs build a clear and actionable strategic plan for the upcoming business year. This year’s session, held on Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Buckeye Bnk ,conference room in Perrysburg. Brought together about thirteen attendees—from personal decluttering professionals to heads of HR—each seeking clarity, direction, and renewed purpose for their businesses.
At the core of SAP Day is one mission: to make the next 12 months not just manageable, but intentional. Participants receive guidance, education, and a structured framework that breaks a yearlong strategic plan into smaller, achievable day-to-day tasks. This hands-on approach allows business owners to not only outline their goals, but also confidently map out how to reach them.

To support that process, each attendee was given a personalized business planning binder—a practical tool that became the backbone of the day’s exercises. Throughout the event, participants worked through sections devoted to business goals, growth opportunities, productivity strategies, and even the emotional resilience required to keep the spark alive during the pressures of entrepreneurship.
Robin Piccione, Sr. Brand Strategist at E.A. Lewis & Associates, emphasized the importance of support and intentionality in her guidance throughout the day. “Running a small business can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone,”Piccione said. “At EA Lewis & Associates, we specialize in helping successful business owners like you tackle the most challenging aspects of business management.”
Sessions also explored the emotional side of leadership—how to maintain joy, creativity, and drive while navigating the daily demands of running a business. Attendees openly shared challenges, discussed new ways to measure success, and left with a renewed sense of community and possibility.
"We've seen attendees at SAP Day exhbit success in a variety of ways." SAP Day is more than a workshop it’s a reset, a roadmap, and a reminder that every great business deserves a thoughtful plan. By offering small business owners the tools and support they need, E.A. Lewis & Associates continues to empower leaders to approach the next year with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
