For 12 straight hours on Saturday, Feb. 28, the spotlight will shine on inclusion.

Inclusive Arts Ohio is hosting its annual benefit concert telethon, “iDance with Love,” a daylong fundraiser designed to support adaptive arts programming for individuals of all abilities. The event runs from noon to midnight and will be held in person while also streaming live on Facebook.

Organizers say 100 percent of the proceeds will go directly toward sustaining and expanding Inclusive Arts Ohio’s programming.

The telethon features a diverse lineup of local performers, including Trez Gregory, Ramona Collins, Lady K and Intuition, Jeff Stewart, Aayan Naim, Jean Holden, Black Ice with Bobby G, Whiskey Gypsy, Amber Wilkes, Brush with Bradley, Tooturnt, Nikki D and the Sisters of Thunder, Djobi Drum Ensemble, Bobby May, Tariq and Quarter Note, Ragtime Rick and Banjo Betsy, Big C, Jai Turner, K and D Taiko, Adaptive Sounds, Off Broadway Dance Center, Evolve Dance and iDance performers themselves.

Guest emcees Meaghan Mick and Mike Bell will guide viewers and attendees throughout the 12-hour broadcast.

Inclusive Arts Ohio, home of the iDance program, provides adaptive dance, music and performance opportunities for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The organization focuses on creating inclusive environments where participants can express themselves creatively while building confidence, social skills and physical coordination.

For many families, programs like iDance offer more than arts instruction. They provide a sense of community and belonging. Performances throughout the year allow participants to take center stage, challenging assumptions about who gets to be seen and celebrated in the arts.

The annual telethon serves as one of the organization’s primary fundraising efforts. Funds raised help cover instructor costs, facility space, adaptive equipment and scholarships that ensure participants can attend regardless of financial circumstances.

Organizers say the event is intentionally structured as a celebration rather than a traditional fundraiser. Throughout the day, audiences can expect live performances, interviews and moments highlighting the impact of inclusive arts programming in northwest Ohio.

Community members can attend in person or watch the livestream on Facebook. Donations can be made during the broadcast through QR codes or digital payment platforms including Zelle, PayPal and Venmo.

As the name suggests, “iDance with Love” centers on more than movement. It underscores the mission of Inclusive Arts Ohio: ensuring that the arts remain accessible to everyone — and that every dancer has a stage.
