Fall time in Toledo is the season for pumpkin spice, sweaters, corn mazes and the cult theater show "Rocky Horror." Stone Productions has been inviting Toledo audiences to “do the Time Warp again,” and this fall marks an its 10th season of The Rocky Horror Show at the Collingwood Arts Center. Known as one of the longest-running production of the cult classic in Northwest Ohio (not including showdown cat productions), the show has grown into more than just a performance; it’s become a fall tradition for theater lovers across town.
Stone Productions first staged Rocky Horror in 2015, and what began as a daring experiment quickly transformed into a community staple. Each season, the company introduces a brand-new theme, breathing fresh life into the familiar storyline. Past productions have ranged from steam punk scenery to vaudeville camp (think Moulin Rouge meets MTVs Head Bangers Ball from the 80s), modern twists, for those audience experiencing Rocky Horror for the first time. All dolled up as their favorite character ready for controlled chaos to ensue.

Stone Productions’ has a commitment to diversity in casting. Every year, performers of different backgrounds and identities bring the beloved characters to life in new ways, allowing the show to reflect the community it serves. This is not just reflected with the production of Rocky Horror. Past productions include, "Little Shop of Horrors", "Spring Awakening", "RENT" and the highly anticipated debut of Tony award winning Musical "Avenue Q." This spring. This inclusivity has made many of these productions feel relatable, resonating with audiences who see themselves represented on stage.
The Collingwood Arts Center is the perfect home for the production. Its historic halls and gothic atmosphere provide a fitting backdrop for the show’s wild blend of music, comedy, and chaos. More than just a venue, Collingwood has helped anchor Rocky Horror as part of Toledo’s cultural identity. As much as it is historic it gives off creep vibes in only the way a “Transylvanian” could appreciate and love.
As Stone Productions enters its 10th season, audiences can expect surprises, a bold new theme, and the same outrageous energy that’s kept them coming back year after year. In Toledo, fall wouldn’t feel complete without Rocky Horror.
So ask yourself "Are you ready to do the time warp?...Again?"
